Lotus Flower

Here is a shot I got early this morning, its so hard to get shots of the Lotus Flowers, since they only are open for such a short period of time. but cant get much better then this shot. Absolutely gorgeous, the lush colors of these flowers are so exotic. I love these and the water lilies the most for theor pure beauty! Still waiting for some of the water hyacinth to flower, it had been doing pretty poor all summer, but I have a few spots that are doing great, mostly the in my homemade biofalls, but a bunch look ready to bloom! :-)
Happy Labor Day Weekend, I for one know Ill be sitting by the pond with a nice cold one tomorrow instead of sitting at work!
